About Luis Enrique Ramirez, M.S.T., C.P.A.

With over 28 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation, Luis Enrique Ramirez is the principal of Contra Costa CPA, a sole proprietorship accounting firm. His expertise includes serving as an IRS Class Instructor, where he traveled nationwide delivering taxation lectures to newly appointed Revenue Agents. Luis specializes in tax audit defense and tax debt resolution, offering comprehensive tax and accounting advisory services customized for both individual and business clients.

Leveraging his extensive experience as a former IRS Revenue Agent, he has handled more than 1,500 tax examinations and collection cases throughout South Florida and Northern California. During his IRS career, Luis defended government positions in Administrative Appeals, partnered with IRS attorneys in Tax Court proceedings and criminal investigations, and successfully recovered millions of dollars for the U.S. Government through asset seizures, bank levies, and liens.
